SoCal born and raised, owner and operator, Brittany Bell, moved to Texas in 2008, getting to the Lone Star state as fast as she could. Having been a licensed beauty professional since 2010 she was always experimenting on family, friends, and her own hair since high school.

 

Her formative teenage years were spent in record and thrift stores looking for anything old that spoke to her.  Those passions have carried BB into her adult years where she tends to let the classics dictate her modern interpretations of hair color and cut trends.

 

After studying and mentoring at several high end salons at the beginning of her career, in 2015 she accepted a position as a color educator with Wella Professionals. In 2018 she opened the Blonde Leopard Hair Studio in downtown Austin with friend and business partner, Gabriela Cotton. where she still holds title of stylist and owner.

 

In 2020 BB and her husband finally made the move to Lockhart after years of weekend road trips. After a while her entrepreneurial spirit took hold and she made the decision to expand her empire by opening Harvest Gold Beauty, wanting to add to the charm of the town and hopefully give back to the community that has been so welcoming.

 

Harvest Gold is named after a color palette popularized in the 1960s-70s.  This color palette has served as inspiration for the design of the new space where she hopes to create a comfortable yet professional space that speaks to the artistic and historical spirit of Lockhart.
